Paris Saint-Germain edged Brest 1-0 on Sunday night in Ligue 1, Luis Enrique resting several regulars as Renato Marin impressed again while Bradley Barcola struggled. According to L'Équipe, Désiré Doué came off the bench to decide it late on.

Early on, Grégoire Coudert kept Brest alive, saving Lucas Hernandez’s long-range strike in the seventh minute. Marin then raced out to thwart Doumbia on 23 minutes, before a point-blank stop from Le Guen on 29 minutes. He also intervened firmly against Dina Ebimbe on 33 minutes, the move already halted for offside, and Barcola produced one fine cross before the break.

Doué replaced a predictable Lee Kang-in on 53 minutes and immediately injected energy and tempo. Gonçalo Ramos missed a clear opening soon after and was withdrawn for Ousmane Dembélé on 61 minutes, with Barcola shifting to the right around the hour.

Coudert resisted again on 68 minutes, turning away Senny Mayulu from distance, but Barcola departed for Joao Neves on 69 minutes. Doué finally broke the deadlock on 82 minutes with a low drive.

At 19, Le Guen’s composure at the back stood out for Brest, though Daouda Guindo and Romain Del Castillo failed to make promising situations count. Marin capped his night with a superb late dive to deny Magnetti on 84 minutes.
