PSG 3-0 Metz ratings: Zaïre-Emery sets tone as Ramos shines | OneFootball

Warren Zaïre-Emery set the tone with an early assist, then Gonçalo Ramos added a goal and an assist as PSG beat Metz 3-0 on Saturday.

According to L'Équipe, Luis Enrique's sweeping rotation before the Champions League play-off second leg did not blunt PSG, with an average team rating of 5.7.

Zaïre-Emery released Désiré Doué to score in the third minute. On 32, Achraf Hakimi went close with a free-kick. Ramos then set up Bradley Barcola at 45+3 to make it 2-0.

Doué was withdrawn at half-time as a precaution for Mbaye. On 63 minutes Vitinha and Joao Neves arrived, then Kvaratskhelia on 64, and Lucas Hernandez picked him out on 68. Ramos struck on 77, Zaïre-Emery almost added another on 79, and Mbaye spurned a late chance at 90+2.

Goalkeeper Matvey Safonov was untroubled, making no saves and cleanly claiming two crosses. Zabarnyi’s distribution was assured, and Hernandez won the ball before the third goal. Lee’s long passing, including the corner that sparked the second, quickened PSG’s play.
