After a few big sales, we’re all looking for PSG to sign some players this summer, and the first major deal may not be far away.
PSG and Monaco “continue to work” on the transfer of Maghnes Akliouche, according to Sacha Tavolieri. He says that talks have been going on since the spring, with Monaco asking for a €50m fee for the attacker.
€50m seems pretty reasonable for such an exceptional talent. Still just 24, Akliouche has racked up more than 100 Ligue 1 games for Monaco and is a perfect replacement for the departing Kang-in Lee.
Of course PSG want to pay as little as possible, but we can’t see them getting the fee much below that, given how much promise Akliouche has shown.
The player has already given his “green light” to Paris, and will be hoping this deal can be sorted soon so he can begin preparing for his move once the World Cup with France is over.
“As for the player himself, the trend is clear… Akliouche has reportedly already informed those close to him that PSG is his priority. Seduced by the prospect of joining Paris and working under Luis Enrique, the player is said to be pushing internally to finaliswe the transfer in the coming weeks.”
One PSG star is not having the best time at the World Cup, which is especially painful considering what happened at Euro 2024.
PSG have signed a talented young goalkeeper from AC Milan, and he’s spoken today about how it feels to sign for the Parisians.
