Paris Saint-Germain are currently falling behind to Liverpool in the race to sign Yan Diomande (19) from RB Leipzig, according to a report from The Athletic. The Reds have already informed the Bundesliga club that they would be willing to prepare a package in the region of €100m to secure the Côte d’Ivoire international forward’s services.

Les Parisiens are believed to be waiting to make a formal approach until they understand where the 19-year-old wants to go. Despite not making a formal approach to Leipzig, the French champions have contacted Diomande and are currently behind Liverpool as far as reaching an agreement on personal terms is concerned.

Liveprool also considering other options to Diomande

RB Leipzig are keen to keep the Ivorian wide forward this summer. As a result, the Reds are also considering other options to the winger. Bradley Barcola is someone that the 6-time European cup winners have also been linked with this summer.
