PSG have new attacker target after agent and image rights scupper first choice move | OneFootball

Eli Junior Kroupi is back in the frame as a PSG target after the Parisians decided that Yan Diomande is going to be a hard deal to do.

Slowly but surely, PSG’s summer is coming together.

They’ve made some important sales, and have signed a talented young goalkeeper. Soon to follow is a veteran, backup left back. They need an addition in attack after selling Kang-in Lee and Goncalo Ramos, and by all accounts winger Yan Diomande is their first choice.

However recent reports are making a deal look far less likely than it did a couple of weeks ago. Journalist Malick Traore is claiming that PSG are going to “pass” on Diomande because of the “complexity” of the deal to sign him.

He cites image rights as one of the non-footballing issues that are cropping up and putting PSG off. There seems to be a conflict between different agencies over who represents Diomande, following his astonishing rise from obscurity.

Instead, Traore says that PSG will move back to another forward they’ve been linked to before – Eli Junior Kroupi of Bournemouth, who has been tearing up the Premier League since his arrival.

Like Diomande, that will be a very expensive deal to do. But perhaps Kroupi and his camp are easier to deal with than Diomande’s.

PSG’s second deal of the summer is soon to be completed, with reports that Lucas Digne is taking his medical today.

Barcelona know that PSG want to sign Ferran Torres and are doing everything they can to try and prevent it.
