PSG have opened talks to sign Ajax winger Mika Godts as they continue their search for a wide player. According to Fabrizio Romano, discussions are under way with the 21-year-old Belgian.

The move could further strengthen their wide options, with Maghnes Akliouche’s switch to Paris close after Monaco accepted a €50m offer.

With talks for Yan Diomandé having collapsed as he closes on Real Madrid, and Kang-in Lee departing for Atlético de Madrid, PSG are targeting a key position for Luis Enrique. Uncertainty also surrounds Bradley Barcola, who is contracted until 2028 and is interested in a move to Liverpool.

Godts, from Leuven, is under contract at Ajax until 2029 and is a direct dribbler. He scored 17 goals and provided 15 assists in 44 appearances in 2025-26 and has two caps for Belgium.

He was left out of Rudi Garcia’s World Cup squad, a call that surprised many in Belgium. After the omission he wrote that the team came first and that he would keep working hard every day to be ready when needed.

The report added that Ajax have shifted stance, having initially hoped to keep him, with PSG’s interest altering the picture.
