Reports in Italy suggest that there will be a new meeting between the agent of PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and representatives from the club in the coming days to discuss the possibility of signing a new contract amidst links to a Serie A return and to the Premier League.
Donnarumma is now into the season year of the five-year contract that he signed when he left Milan to join PSG on a free transfer in the summer of 2021.
If Donnarumma has not signed a new deal by the time he enters the final six months of his contract, which expires at the end of June 2026, he will be free to negotiate with any other club.

According to reports from Calciomercato.com, Donnarumma’s priority has always been to sign a new deal at the Parc des Princes.
Wednesday’s report claims that Donnarumma and his entourage had already expressed their demands to the club before the end of the 2024-25 season and that talks over a new contract are ongoing.
As things stand, Donnarumma’s agent has not yet spoken to any other club about a potential move this summer, despite rumours of a potential move to the Premier League, or even back to Serie A.

While there have been no formal talks, Calciomercato claims that there are still several clubs monitoring the situation.
In Italy, the majority of top-half clubs already have their goalkeeping positions locked in for the 2024-25 season. A potential move to Inter has been reported by various outlets, but Wednesday’s report indicates that this is an unlikely scenario while Yann Sommer and Josep Martinez remain on the club’s books.
