According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain plans to open negotiations with Bradley Barcola (22) over a new contract in the coming weeks. The France international has been attracting interest from several clubs, including Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Chelsea.
PSG want to keep the former Lyon forward at the club. The UEFA Champions League winners have made signing Barcola to a new contract one of their main priorities during the summer transfer window, aside from adding new recruits to Luis Enrique’s squad. Les Parisiens have made this known after they have rebuffed several approaches for the Frenchman’s services, as they desire to keep him at the Parc des Princes.
Barcola has previously hesitated over signing a new contract with the French capital club. The 22-year-old questioned some of the club’s recruitment choices and has seen his place as a starter come under contention since the arrivals of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Desiré Doué.
