Manchester City are set to land a promising Paris Saint-Germain prospect in the form of Mahamadou Sangaré (18), according to a report from Fabrizio Romano.
Sangaré played a prominent part in PSG’s UEFA Youth League campaign this season, netting an impressive eight goals in just six games whilst also registering two assists in that time. However, the France youth international is seemingly unwilling to stick around and wait for first-team appearances at the Parc des Princes.
Yet to make his first senior appearance, the prolific goalscorer (33 goals in 35 games for PSG’s U19s) looks set to leave upon the expiry of his contract this summer. Romano understands that the 18-year-old centre-forward is set to undergo a medical at Manchester City.
The France youth international will then sign a long-term deal with the Premier League giants. Sangaré therefore looks set to leave his formative club on a free transfer in the coming days.
