PSG Superstar Declares ‘Inter Milan One Of The Best Teams In The World, They Deserve To Be In The Champions League Final’ | OneFootball

PSG winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia feels that Inter Milan “deserve to be in the Champions League final” this season.

Speaking to Amazon Prime Video, via FCInterNews, the Georgian called his team’s opponents for the final “one of the best teams in the world.”

Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan are set to square off in the Champions League final.

The two teams will meet in Munich at the end of the month.

Inter booked their place in the final by eliminating the likes of Feyenoord, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona.

Meanwhile, PSG managed aggregate wins against Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal in the knockout rounds.

One player in the PSG squad who will know Inter well is winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The 24-year-old joined the Parisians midway through the season.

PSG signed Kvaratskhelia from Napoli during the January transfer window. This came after he had spent two and a half seasons with the Partenopei.

Kvaratskhelia certainly enjoyed his share of success with Napoli. In his first season with the club, he played a starring role as they won the Serie A title.

However, the Georgian didn’t actually enjoy that much success in head-to-head matches against Inter.

The Nerazzurri always proved to be formidable opposition for Napoli. Even when the latter were on their way to the Serie A title.

After PSG booked their place in the Champions League final, Kvaratskhelia commented that “I’m very happy.”

“Because we’re in the final. For me, this was a dream.”

“Everything happened so quickly,” the 24-year-old added.

Kvaratskhelia predicted that “it will be a tough match against Inter, who deserve to be in the final.”

“We respect them,” the Georgian said. “They’re one of the best teams in the world.”

‘But so are we,” he added. “And we deserve to win the Champions League.”
