PSG and Arsenal will contest the 2025-26 Champions League final as reigning champions of France and England, the first such pairing in six years.

PSG secured Ligue 1 for the 14th time in their history, and a fifth in succession, after a 2-0 win against Lens on 13 May.

Arsenal were crowned champions of England for the first time since 2004, after the 1-1 draw between Bournemouth and Manchester City.

The last final between reigning domestic title-holders came in 2019-20, when Hansi Flick's Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga, German Cup and Supercup, then beat Thomas Tuchel's PSG 1-0. PSG had earlier won a Ligue 1 season halted in March due to the Covid pandemic.
