The summer transfer window has closed, and despite heavy speculation, Rodrygo is staying put at Real Madrid. The Brazilian forward had been linked with PSG throughout the window, but no move came together before the deadline.
Reports on PSG’s interest have varied. Foot Mercato’s Josué Cassé said Rodrygo is not currently on the French club’s radar, while Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reported that PSG and Liverpool are monitoring his situation. Plettenberg also noted that Tottenham Hotspur are not in the running.
PSG could still revisit their interest down the line, but whether Rodrygo eventually leaves Madrid will depend on how things unfold in the months ahead.

The Parisians already have plenty of attacking options with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Désiré Doué, Ousmane Dembélé, and Bradley Barcola. However, journalist Fabrizio Romano claims Rodrygo was at the top of PSG’s list of interests this summer in case Barcola moved to the Premier League.
Recently, a report by Estadiodeportivo revealed that Manchester City are once again showing interest in Rodrygo, having already explored his signing last summer. Manager Pep Guardiola has long admired the Brazilian and believes he would slot seamlessly into his attacking system.
