All Ligue 1 sides have now been defeated this season, which means a longstanding record will remain unbroken.

In the 1994-95 season, FC Nantes collected points in their first 32 fixtures in the French top-flight, en route to eventually claiming the title for the seventh time. PSG threatened to beat that record last season, only to suffer a 3-1 defeat versus OGC Nice on matchday 31.

Les Parisiens were the last Ligue 1 side with a chance to equal that record this season. A goal in the fifth minute by Nayef Aguerd (29) at the Stade Vélodrome was all Olympique de Marseille would need to defeat the reigning league champions 1-0 on Monday.

Since that title-winning season over 30 years ago, Nantes have won this domestic competition one other time, finishing four points above Olympique Lyonnais to capture Ligue 1 in the 2000-01 campaign.

So far this season, La Maison Jaune are 16th after five matchdays with four points, playing to a 2-2 draw at home to Stade Rennais on Saturday. The 1994-95 Nantes side featured Patrice Loko, Reynald Pedros, Claude Makélélé and future World Cup champion Christian Karembeu.
