Celtic last night kicked off their pre season activity with a well earned one nil win over Queens Park at the City Stadium.
It was a good run out for the squad who were missing a chunk of first team players, with new additions Callum Osmand and Hayato Inamura watching on from the stands.
Brendan still managed to send out a strong side with the likes of Callum McGregor, Arne Engles, Luke McCowan, and Auston Trusty playing the first forty five minutes, with new signing Ross Doohan starting between the sticks.
Johnny Kenny slotted home what would prove to be the only goal of the game just before the twenty minute mark after being assisted by Mitchel Frame.
The second half saw a host of changes and 16 year old Conor Daly made his debut for the hoops as a late substitute in what would’ve been a proud moment for the youngster and his family.

In the end it was well earned victory for Celtic who dominated throughout, but this is a game that will tell us nothing, and was little more than getting some much needed fitness into the legs of the players in preparation for the long campaign ahead.
