According to Globo.com, Racing want US$ 10 million, R$ 52.6 million, to release 23-year-old midfielder Juan Ignacio Nardoni, complicating Grêmio's pursuit.

Reports have suggested Grêmio tabled US$ seven million plus US$ two million in bonuses, a package worth R$ 47.3 million.

Club officials have not confirmed the figures relayed to Racing or how many offers were made.
