Rafa Mir cleared to join Aris Thessaloniki after Valencia court approval | OneFootball

Rafa Mir is finalising a move to Aris Thessaloniki for 26/27 after the Audiencia de Valencia approved the operation outside Spain, Las Provincias reports.

According to Estadio Deportivo, the Sevilla forward has received passport authorisation to play abroad, a key step towards a departure from the club.

Las Provincias adds that the court has allowed him to reside in Greece this season to sign for Aris, although he must sign in once a month at the consulate.

The Fourth Section of the Audiencia Provincial de Valencia sentenced Mir to eight and a half years in prison for the sexual assault of a 21-year-old woman in the early hours of 1 September 2024 at his home in the Torre en Conill urbanisation in Bétera.

The permission to reside abroad applies to this season.
