Rafa Silva strikes at the death as Benfica seize second

Benfica beat Sporting CP 2-1 at Estádio José Alvalade to climb to second in Liga Portugal and preserve their unbeaten league record.
In the 14th minute, Trincão won a penalty for the Leões after Fredrik Aursnes' foul. VAR confirmed the spot kick (16.). Luis Suárez's effort was saved by Anatolii Trubin (19.).
A handball by Hidemasa Morita led to a penalty for the Águias (25.). Andreas Schjelderup converted from the spot to open the scoring (27.).
After Zeno Debast's introduction (60.), the Leões levelled when Hidemasa Morita glanced in a header from Debast's cross (72.).
Rafa Silva settled it in the third minute of second half stoppage time, steering in Leandro Martins' pass for the winner.
The Leões pressed, hitting 19 attempts and enjoying 61.1% possession. Trubin made five saves as the Águias held firm.
Next, the Leões visit Porto in the Taça de Portugal. The Águias host Moreirense next.
