Rafael Leao wants to leave AC Milan this summer. The player, who was once a transfer target for FC Bayern, is already exploring his options—but apparently still hopes to move to a top European club.

Rafael Leao remains one of the most intriguing players on the international transfer market. After several successful years at AC Milan, the Portuguese international is looking to change clubs and could leave the Rossoneri this summer.

As transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports, several clubs from Saudi Arabia have already expressed interest in the winger. Leao is said to no longer be ruling out a move to the Saudi Pro League outright. However, his priority remains in Europe.

Bayern remains a possible contender

In addition to the interested parties from Saudi Arabia, Tottenham Hotspur is apparently also looking into the attacking player. According to Teamtalk, the Spurs have already held preliminary talks with Leao. The transfer fee is reportedly between 60 and 70 million euros.

The situation also remains interesting from FC Bayern’s perspective. The Munich club took a close look at Leao last summer and particularly valued his speed, dribbling ability, and versatility on offense.

Should Bayern decide to become active in the transfer market once again and approach Leao, the Portuguese player is likely to be open to a move to Munich. So far, however, there are no concrete indications that the record champions are currently working on signing him.

In addition, Bayern has already invested significant sums in the signings of Ismael Saibari and Nathaniel Brown. Without further transfer proceeds, an additional multi-million transfer for the offense seems rather unlikely at this time.

Nevertheless, Leao remains a player the Munich club could keep an eye on. According to Romano, the 27-year-old is initially waiting for offers from top European clubs—only if those fail to materialize could a move to Saudi Arabia become a serious option.
