After Josip Stanisic learned today, Monday, that he will be traveling to the World Cup with the Croatian national team, Austria national team coach Ralf Rangnick has now also nominated his squad, including several players from the Bundesliga

The 28-year-old has played 56 international matches for Austria so far, scoring seven goals. He appeared in 46 games for Bayern in the 2025/26 season, scoring 16 times, and will also play in the cup final on Saturday before joining the national team to prepare for the big tournament

Meanwhile, his future in Munich is likely to be clarified after the tournament. After it was initially reported that Laimer’s demands were very high, it was recently reported that Laimer had taken a step towards FC Bayern and adjusted his salary demand.
