Ranieri reacts to Roma missing out on Champions League | OneFootball

Roma manager Claudio Ranieri spoke after the Giallorossi’s victory over Torino.

Despite beating Vanoli’s men, Roma missed out on Champions League football but qualified for next year’s Europa League.

”I always said to fight until the last day and see what we would do,” Ranieri told DAZN.

“We didn’t make it to the Champions League, we’re sorry for the fans, but we gave everything and when you give everything you are satisfied.”

”The new coach? The incredible thing is that the media still haven’t talked about him. The president will decide when to announce his appointment.”

”When I arrived the team was at the lowest point, they were with their morale on the ground. I played easy trying to restore their confidence and recompassed them.”
