Raphaël Guerreiro could join AC Milan after a decade in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.
Tuttosport reports that the Portuguese all-rounder is being considered as a possible replacement for Pervis Estupiñán by the seven-time European champions.
Atlético Madrid were initially linked, although they have since signed Bayer Leverkusen’s Alejandro Grimaldo to fill that role. Meanwhile, Die Werkself were heavily linked with the 32-year-old late last month.
There had been suggestions he was considering ending his injury-hit career early. He is now assessing options to join another club on a free transfer.
Guerreiro missed out on the Meisterschale in his final Dortmund appearance, but lifted it in back-to-back seasons with Bayern. He also won the European Championship with Portugal in 2016.
