The Brazilian forward Raphinha has been an important player for FC Barcelona since his arrival at the Catalan club back in 2022. However, the clearly took the next step in his career to become one of the very best players in the world following the arrival of Hansi Flick on the Blaugrana bench.

Since the German’s arrival, the Brazilian forward has become one of the most important players for Barcelona, and his importance has been clear whenever he was unavailable due to injury during the last season.

Meanwhile, his performances for the Blaugrana club have also attracted the attention of other top sides from around the world, and this summer, he is once again a subject of interest from the wealthy Saudi Arabian clubs.

However, as SPORT has reported, both him and the Catalan club are going to remain committed, and he is not going to leave despite the offers he has on the table, even though he is not too happy with his current contract.

Although he renewed his contract with Barcelona last year, this contract was not too much to his liking, either in terms of the number of years or his wages, as these were not at par with what was offered to some of his teammates. He signed that contract out of loyalty for the club, but now wants a review of his contractual conditions, especially keeping in view the offers he has from Saudi Arabia.

The Brazilian has already had some meetings with Deco, and in all of these meetings, he has expressed his willingness to continue, but preferably with an improved contract that would put him at par with his teammates.

Meanwhile, Barcelona also want him to stay, and are not listening to any offers for him. Things can change significantly next year, when Raphinha would have only a year left on his contract, and then, a move to Saudi Arabia would not hurt either the player or the Blaugrana club too much, as the latter already have his position covered with Anthony Gordon’s signing.
