Rasmus Kristensen has sealed a €6m move to FC Midtjylland, according to Florian Plettenberg, returning to Denmark from Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Denmark right-back joined Leeds from Red Bull Salzburg for £10m in June 2022. He was among those to depart the following summer after relegation to the Championship.

He spent 2023-24 on loan at AS Roma. The following summer he headed to Eintracht Frankfurt on loan with an option to make the switch permanent.

That move was finalised in May 2025, ending his association with Leeds.

The switch is said to be driven by personal reasons. Eintracht are understood to have respected his wishes, and a medical has already been completed.
