Rayan marries in Rio as Bournemouth move nears, Vasco songs soundtrack farewell | OneFootball

According to Globo.com, Rayan, who has an agreement with Bournemouth, married Duda Santos in Rio de Janeiro on Friday, marking one of his farewells with a party soundtracked by Vasco songs.

Videos on social media showed guests singing Vasco favourites, including the "oi, boa noite" chant that carried the crowd late last year, and "A Barreira Vai Virar Baile", a nod to Philippe Coutinho's return to São Januário.

Rayan and Duda have been together since before he signed his first professional deal with Vasco. He proposed last year at a Copacabana hotel. The celebration came before his trip to England to sign a five-year contract with Bournemouth.

Vasco and Bournemouth have settled the figures, and the move is edging closer. The deal is being finalised at 35 million euros, roughly R$ 220.7 million at current rates, with the parties now exchanging documents.

Vasco are set to receive about 24 million euros, approximately R$ 151 million, because the player's economic rights are shared with his family and representatives.
