RB Leipzig confirm Rocco Reitz signing on contract to 2031

RB Leipzig have confirmed the signing of Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Rocco Reitz. The club said in a statement that he will join at the end of the season on a contract running to 2031.

The 23-year-old will move to Red Bull Arena once the current campaign concludes.

Leipzig considered Reitz their top target for a new central midfielder and described negotiations as transparent and fair.

He is viewed as a versatile link between defence and attack, among the league’s leading performers for sprints, intensive runs, distance covered and speed. He is also credited with sharp game-reading, control, the right mindset and leadership beyond his years.

There is scope for further development, with a view to working together over the coming years towards shared goals.
