Real Madrid made easy work of Pachuca despite being a man down on the night and thus progressed to the top of their group after the second matchday of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Yet, their qualification is not 100% certain and a lot rides on the upcoming game against RB Salzburg who have looked like a solid unit so far.
The German opposition are currently second in the group and drew against Al-Hilal at the weekend, the same opposition that held Real Madrid to a draw as well. Needless to say, Xabi Alonso’s men will not have it easy.
Speaking to the media via AS ahead of RB Salzburg’s game against Real Madrid, the German team’s biggest attacking threat Nene Dorgeles spoke on the game that lay ahead and how it would not be easy for his side.
“Madrid has a huge number of big names, football players from whom I can learn a lot,” he said, admitting that Xabi Alonso’s team was stacked with superstars.

He also named one player who seriously impressed him when the two teams last met, which was in the UEFA Champions League last season.
“The one who impressed me the most was Rodrygo, what he did that day was incredible,” he said.
The winger then went on to speak about the upcoming game against Real Madrid but made it a point to emphasise that Salzburg were the clear underdogs and thus do not have pressure on their shoulders.
“It is not a disgrace for an Austrian club to lose against Real.”
He even specifically added that his team was far better and organised now compared to the 5-1 defeat they suffered at the Santiago Bernabeu last season.
“We have improved since that game in Madrid.”
“The circumstances at the Bernabeu were not ideal, but we have progressed. We are a different team and this starts again 0-0,” he added.
