Former bosses of the Austrian game ahead

Let's cast our minds back to 2003, when Anger Management with Adam Sandler was shown in cinemas on repeat, and an era in Austrian women's football began that would last for over a decade! In the spring of 2003, USV Neulengbach won the first of ten consecutive doubles, and by 2014, a total of twelve championship titles would go their way. Our FC Red Bull Salzburg women will end their first round of the regular season with a home game against the record champions on Saturday at 13:00 CEST.

The Lower Austrians have lost some of the glory of those days, occupying eighth place in the table after one win so far in the current ADMIRAL Women's Bundesliga campaign. They pushed league leaders FK Austria Vienna all the way but suffered a 2-1 defeat last week.

Our team, for their part, want to build on their 5-2 goalscoring spectacular at SpG Südburgenland/TSV Hartberg and secure their first victory at the Red Bull Football Academy. They'll be doing so against the league's most homesick team who are yet to take a point on their travels after three away games. Admission is free, and the showdown at the Saalachspitz will be broadcast as usual on ÖFB TV.
