A midweek fixture awaits Milan Futuro, who will make up Matchday 29 of Group B in Serie D with an away trip to face Real Calepina. Both sides will be chasing valuable points as they head into the intense final stretch of the season. With kick-off scheduled for Wednesday 8 April at 15:00 CET, here is our Match Preview.
LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO This will be the final midweek fixture for Oddo's side, following the earlier postponement due to several Rossoneri players being called up for international duty. The current form is undoubtedly positive, with Milan Futuro riding a run of six consecutive unbeaten matches. The record is even more impressive away from home, where their last defeat dates back to 23 November. Several players are enjoying strong spells, including Lorenzo Ossola, who was the match-winner in the reverse fixture.
LATEST FROM REAL CALEPINA It has been a mixed period for the side from Grumello del Monte. They have suffered two consecutive away defeats in the last two matchdays (3-1 against Caldiero Terme and 1-0 against Oltrepò) after back-to-back victories against Virtus CiseranoBergamo and ChievoVerona. Points are needed to move away from the playout zone, where the Bergamo side currently sit. Real Calepina are a team with a clear tactical identity - typically a three-man defence, with a midfield that can set up with either five or four, around two attacking midfielders. Their squad is also notably young, with all players available to coach Joelson being under-30. An interesting stat: after recording five draws in the first half of the season, only one match in the return fixtures has ended level - the 2-2 draw against Villa Valle on 6 January.
WHERE TO WATCH MILAN FUTURO ON TV The match will not be broadcast live on television. However, coverage will be available on the club’s Official App and Instagram channel, where highlights and a full delayed replay will also be published, as well as on acmilan.com.
LATEST FROM SERIE D The match in Grumello del Monte will be officiated by Lorenzo Nencioli from the Prato section, assisted by Bissioni of Cesena and Gherardini of Faenza.
