Speaking to the media on Tuesday ahead of the Real Madrid vs Manchester City first leg in the UEFA Champions League round of 16, Alvaro Arbeloa took aim at the Barça president.

The Spanish coach was asked about the Real Madrid vs Manchester City clash, but also touched on other current topics. One of the main subjects was Joan Laporta, the FC Barcelona president who is running for re-election and recently spoke out again on the Negreira case.

It’s safe to say Arbeloa didn’t hold back. “Yes, candidate Laporta… I believe he’s the one who quadrupled the payments to Negreira. There’s not much more to add.” he declared.
