In a recent report, AS claimed that Real Madrid are keeping a keen eye on Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton. It has been mentioned that Los Blancos have identified the English talent as a main target for next year.

Wharton’s Impressive Form In English Football This Season

Wharton is having a solid campaign at the London club as he has produced a run of eye-catching displays for them at the centre of the park. The English talent has participated in ten matches for the Eagles this season, securing one assist across various competitions.

The 21-year-old has offered good protection for his teammates at the back as he has made six tackles, five blocks, six interceptions and five clearances in the Premier League. He has also been careful when distributing the ball from midfield after completing 78.4% of his attempted passes in the English top tier (stats via fbref.com).

His current contract at Crystal Palace will run out in the summer of 2029. Thus, Los Blancos would have to make a convincing offer if they want to recruit Wharton next year.

Will Wharton Be A Decent Option For Real Madrid Boss Xabi Alonso?
