Real Madrid boss Alonso provides Jude Bellingham return timeline update | OneFootball

Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso has on Friday provided an update on the wellbeing of midfield star Jude Bellingham.

Youngster Bellingham has for his part of course been forced to sit out Real Madrid’s La Liga campaign to date.

This comes amid an ongoing recovery from shoulder surgery undergone over the summer.

The Englishman has over the last week been spotted back on the pitch at Valdebebas alongside the rest of his Blancos teammates.

In turn, it had been suggested that the 21-year-old could be in line for an imminent return to the pitch.

Speaking during his latest press conference on Friday, the subject of Bellingham’s comeback timeline was in turn put to manager Xabi Alonso.

And Real Madrid’s headmaster went on to confirm that, though his midfield standout is progressing positively, he is unlikely to take to the pitch this month:

“Jude Bellingham is back and he may be available already for the games in October.”
