Real Madrid brace for transfer battle as Guardiola plots major swoop from Los Blancos
Real Madrid could face one of their toughest transfer battles in the summer of 2026 with uncertainty still surrounding long term future of Vinicius Junior.
The Brazilian winger is reportedly seeking significant pay rise in his next deal ,a demand that could complicate Real Madrid’s extension plans according to Defensa Central.
Reports in Spain suggest that Pep Guardiola's monitoring the situation closely and could launch ambitious attempt to bring Vinicius to Man City next season.
Real Madrid currently planning to reopen negotiations with Vinicius Jr at the end of the season. Reports indicate that club president Florentino Perez's made it clear to senior officials that the player is untouchable and that no sale will be considered under any circumstances.
While the Brazilian's current contract runs until June 2027, his representatives are demanding new deal that reflects his prominent position within the team particularly after his Champions League triumphs and his growing commercial influence.
