On Monday night, Real Madrid suffered a major blow in La Liga. Florentino Pérez's head is being called for.
Up against Getafe in La Liga, Real Madrid were beaten at home with a score of 1-0. This defeat pushes Los Blancos further away from the league title. The loss sparked a fierce reaction from some fans present at the stadium.
According to Cadena SER, several supporters whistled at the Madrid players for much of the match. Álvaro Arbeloa was also jeered after Thiago Pitarch was substituted.
Finally, president Florentino Pérez was not spared. SER reports that after the match, he was greeted with chants of "Florentino, resign!"
