While it was only the Frenchman who got on the scoreboard last night, the game saw Real Madrid dish out a clinical performance all around the field.

The Argentine star did not complete the game on the night but was massive throughout the 74 minutes that he was on the field for. His work-rate off the ball and quality on it were both undeniable.

As relayed by Defensa Central in a recent update, Mastantuono earned serious praise from Real Madrid captain Dani Carvajal after leaving the field last night as the Spanish full-back praised him for his energy, commitment, and quality.

“You are from another world, your way of pressing and running for the team is incredible. Keep it up,” Carvajal reportedly told the teenage phenom after the game.

In the 74 minutes he was on the field, Mastantuono racked up 92% accurate passes, 100% accurate long balls, and completed two successful dribbles.

Defensively, moreover, he stood out with three tackles won, seven defensive contributions, two interceptions, and nine duels won. Further, he made six recoveries on the night.

In a game where Aurelien Tchouameni was unavailable through suspension, the Argentine phenom’s shift was massive for Real Madrid and played its part in helping the team to three points. The youngster, needless to say, made a strong case to continue being in the starting XI under Alvaro Arbeloa.
