Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan, with the Netherlands international putting pen to paper on a five-year contract running until 2030.
The 30-year-old right-back arrives after an impressive spell in Italy, where he established himself as one of Europe's most consistent attacking full-backs. Reports suggest Real Madrid activated the €20 million release clause in his contract to complete the transfer.
Dumfries spent five seasons at Inter, making 207 appearances, scoring 27 goals and providing 22 assists. During his time at San Siro, he won two Serie A titles and three domestic cups, while also helping the Nerazzurri reach two Champions League finals.
The Dutch international also featured for the Netherlands at the 2026 World Cup, contributing two assists in four appearances before completing his move to the Spanish giants.
He becomes Real Madrid's fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konate and Marc Cucurella, as Jose Mourinho continues to reshape his squad ahead of the new campaign.
Dumfries is expected to compete with Trent Alexander-Arnold for the right-back position following Dani Carvajal's departure, adding further quality and experience to an already strengthened Real Madrid defence.
