José Mourinho is returning to Real Madrid as head coach on a three-season deal.
The club said in a statement that its board, chaired by Florentino Pérez on 11 June, had appointed him to lead the first team for three seasons, until 30 June 2029.

Mourinho, 63, will take charge on 13 July, the first day of pre-season. The move had already been trailed earlier in the week.
He previously managed Madrid between 2010 and 2013.
Mourinho succeeds Alvaro Arbeloa, whose departure was confirmed on Tuesday, and arrives with the task of ending two trophyless seasons.
