La Liga giants Real Madrid could yet welcome back a pair of key players for their upcoming showdown with Liverpool.
That’s according to Diario AS, who point towards Rodrygo and Aurélien Tchouaméni as the players in question.
Both attacker Rodrygo and midfielder Tchouaméni were recently condemned to spells on the sidelines, owing to respective thigh and ankle injuries.
The expectation was that both would be out of action until early-December at the earliest, a heavy blow for Real Madrid ahead of the hectic upcoming festive period.
All associated with Los Blancos, in turn, will no doubt be overjoyed to learn that Rodrygo and Tchouaméni are both considered as being ahead of schedule in their recoveries.
So much so that, all going according to plan, the pair could even be given the medical green light to feature against Liverpool next week.
Brazilian international Rodrygo, in fact, is in with an outside chance of being included in Carlo Ancelotti’s matchday setup to face Leganés on Sunday.
