La Liga giants Real Madrid will be forced to make do without the contributions of a key member of the club’s squad in their next outing.

This comes owing to developments in Los Blancos’ meeting with arch rivals Barcelona.

Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action on the domestic front, having made the trip to Catalunya’s capital for a top-of-the-table La Liga showdown with Hansi Flick’s Barca.

Amid the ongoing injury crisis in his squad, Carlo Ancelotti was forced to make use of Aurélien Tchouaméni at the back once more for the clash.

And as alluded to above, during the first-half at Montjuïc, the crisis in the visitors’ backline took another turn for the worse.

This came upon Tchouaméni being shown a yellow card for a clumsy challenge on Barcelona frontman Ferran Torres.

His fifth of the La Liga campaign, the Frenchman will therefore be suspended for Real’s next outing against RCD Mallorca on Wednesday.
