Fran Garcia’s future at Real Madrid seems increasingly uncertain, with multiple La Liga clubs now closely monitoring his situation.
According to a recent update from Fichajes, Villarreal, Real Betis and Celta Vigo have all shown strong interest in signing the young left-back ahead of the upcoming season.
Garcia returned to Real Madrid from Rayo Vallecano with high hopes, but things have not quite gone as expected.
The left-back has struggled to convince both the management and the new coach, Xabi Alonso, feels the position needs further strengthening.
With Madrid planning a squad refresh, Garcia’s place in the team is now under serious threat.
Real Madrid are prioritising a more stable and experienced option at left-back and everything points to Alvaro Carreras, although the deal is far from finalised.

Ferland Mendy remains at the club for now, but the team is also exploring external options to strengthen that position. Garcia, although talented and useful in high-paced attacking setups, has failed to offer the defensive consistency required at the top level.
Still, his value in the Spanish market remains strong. Villarreal, Betis, and Celta, three sides aiming to compete in Europe next season, see Garcia as an ideal addition.
They appreciate his attacking profile, La Liga experience, and potential for growth. These clubs are keeping close contact with the player’s entourage, hoping to seal a move either on a permanent basis or via a loan deal.
Real Madrid are not rushing into a decision. They are open to a transfer if a good offer comes in, but a loan with a buy-back clause is also being considered.
This would allow the club to track his development while still having an option to bring him back in the future.
What is certain is that Fran Garcia’s role at the Santiago Bernabéu looks to be coming to an end, for now at least.
