Real Madrid will lock horns with Celta Vigo on Sunday night, hoping to build on their recent victory over Athletic Club.
Leading up to the game, the Merengues have several confirmed absentees with injury as Ferland Mendy, Dani Carvajal, David Alaba, and Trent Alexander-Arnold are all out.
Meanwhile, question marks remain over the availability of defender Dean Huijsen and midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
As such, Mundo Deportivo reports that both Camavinga and Huijsen will undergo a final assessment tomorrow, Saturday, during the training session that Real Madrid will hold from 11 am at their training ground.
Huijsen has missed the last four matches for Real Madrid due to a muscular issue that also prevented him from joining the Spain national team in the November window. He was unavailable against Elche, Olympiacos, Girona, and Athletic Club.

As for Camavinga, was injured against Athletic Club at San Mames after starting the match. He suffered a mild sprain in his left ankle following a challenge in the second half of the game and had to be taken off.
Both players are pushing to be available for Sunday’s game against Celta Vigo, but Real Madrid might not risk rushing them back, even more so considering that they face Manchester City in the following match and will want both Huijsen and Camavinga ready for that.
So, it remains to be seen how Xabi Alonso & co. approach the situation with the Spanish defender and the French midfielder ahead of Sunday’s league game back at the Santiago Bernabeu.
