This Tuesday, Real Madrid released an update on Ferland Mendy’s condition. The Frenchman has relapsed. “Following medical tests carried out today by Real Madrid’s medical staff on our player Ferland Mendy, a muscle injury to the right hamstring has been diagnosed. His recovery will be closely monitored,” the club stated in its official release.

According to Cope, Ferland Mendy will be sidelined for around three weeks. Given the fixture schedule, all signs point to him not returning to action before next year, in 2026.
