Supporters of La Liga giants Real Madrid have taken to social media this evening, to send something of a demand to head coach Carlo Ancelotti.
This comes fresh off another chaotic 90 minutes for Los Blancos.
Real marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to Mestalla for a La Liga meeting with Valencia.
The visitors headed into proceedings in the knowledge that an eventual victory would see them leapfrog Diego Simeone’s Atlético Madrid into top spot in the Spanish top-flight.
And, when all was said and done, this is precisely what Carlo Ancelotti’s troops managed.
After finding themselves both a man and a goal down late on at Mestalla, Luka Modrić dragged Real Madrid level five minutes from time, setting the stage for a last-gasp injury-time winner courtesy of Jude Bellingham.
As much was only required, however, after Bellingham himself missed a gilt-edged chance to level things up earlier in the half.
After stepping up to take responsibility of a penalty for the visitors, the Englishman struck the post, allowing Valencia to clear their lines.
And it was precisely this development which gave rise to widespread frustration on the part of the Blancos faithful.
With Carlo Ancelotti time and time again having reiterated that he will allow his players to decide between them who should be the club’s penalty-taker during fixtures, calls have mounted for the Italian, moving forward, to choose one first-choice option from 12 yards:
