Real Madrid fans start Trent Alexander-Arnold Liverpool Player of the Year push | OneFootball

Supporters of La Liga giants Real Madrid have this week come together, in collective support of incoming signing Trent Alexander-Arnold.

This comes amid a push to see the Englishman named Player of the Season at Liverpool.

Alexander-Arnold is of course set to bring a close to his long-term stint at Anfield this summer, after coming to the decision not to renew his expiring contract.

The aforementioned Real Madrid will be the beneficiaries of as much, having long sewn up an agreement to bring the right-back in as a free agent.

Alexander-Arnold’s decision to move on has not gone down at all well with those of a Liverpool persuasion, many of whom have gone as far as to label the 26-year-old a ‘traitor’.

As alluded to above, fans of TAA’s new club have this week therefore moved to make clear their support for the defender.

In a push which has begun to pick up steam online, Real Madrid’s fans are now lodging votes in numbers for Alexander-Arnold to be named Liverpool’s official Player of the Season for 2024/25.
