The 25-year-old has made a good start to this campaign as he has put in a string of impressive displays for them at the centre of the park. Vitinha has scored one goal and picked up four assists in eight matches for PSG this season across multiple competitions.
The Portuguese talent has done well to average 2.65 shots per 90 minutes in Ligue 1. He has kept 38.5% of his attempts on target. Vitinha has also been tidy when distributing the ball from midfield after completing 93.9% of his attempted passes in the French first division (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at the French club will expire in the summer of 2029. Thus, it won’t be easy for Real Madrid to sign him on a cut-price deal next year.

Vitinha is a solid tackler of the ball and can scan the danger well to earn the ball back for his team at the centre of the park. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when required and is a tidy passer of the ball as well.
The Portuguese midfielder can strike the ball with venom from long range and is a good dribbler with the ball. Vitinha has also got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates in the final third. He is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also fill in as a defensive midfielder or play in the number ten position if asked to do so.
We can expect Vitinha to enhance the quality of Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso’s midfield. He is good enough to compete for a regular starting spot at the Madrid club in the coming years.
At 25, Vitinha has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a dream option for Los Blancos to pursue this January or at the end of this campaign. However, only time will tell whether he can make a smooth transition to life in La Liga.
