Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has a little over six months left on his contract and Real Madrid are very much alert to his situation.
The Spanish heavyweights are eager to bring in a new right-back as a long-term replacement for veteran star Dani Carvajal and have identified the England international as an absolute priority for the summer of 2025.
After all, Alexander-Arnold is a proven player with his best years ahead of him while he would be available for free.
As such, talkSPORT now reports that Real Madrid have already conveyed their transfer interest in Alexander-Arnold to Liverpool.

Given the right-back’s contract situation, Los Blancos can secure his signing by finalising a pre-contract agreement in January once he enters the last six months of his deal.
As such, Real Madrid are not necessarily obligated to involve Liverpool in any sort of negotiations for the Englishman’s signing.
Despite that, the report suggests that Real Madrid have informed the Reds of their plans to sign Alexander-Arnold as they intend to be respectful towards the Premier League bigwigs.
Liverpool, for their part, still remain hopeful of convincing their homegrown talent to sign a new contract and continue at Anfield.
However, the lure of Real Madrid, where he would be reunited with his close friend Jude Bellingham, will be a tempting prospect for Alexander-Arnold.
