Real Madrid will have to guarantee four signings and the departure of Jude Bellingham in the summer in order to appoint Jurgen Klopp as manager, according to reports.

The La Liga giants decided to part company with Xabi Alonso after losing to Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final in January as they immediately made the decision to appoint Alvaro Arbeloa as his replacement.

There had been rumours that the Real Madrid players were disillusioned by some of Alonso’s tactics and decisions, ultimately leading to a poor dressing room atmosphere.

Despite Arbeloa takling over, there have already been rumours that another manager will take his role in the summer with former Liverpool boss Klopp, Benfica’s Jose Mourinho and Aston Villa’s Unai Emery all mooted.

Fabrizio Romano revealed in January that Klopp and former Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane are “appreciated” by president Florentino Perez but there was no agreement in place with either manager.

Romano said on his YouTube channel: “Real Madrid have not pre-agreed anything with any coach for the summer. There are some managers appreciated by Florentino Perez.

“Zinedine Zidane will always be in his heart, but Zinedine Zidane already has a verbal agreement with the French national team.

“So, let’s see what’s going to happen in the summer if he’s going to respect that agreement after the World Cup or maybe if Real Madrid calls arrive.

“Let’s see what’s going to happen there. And then, many questions of managers, but I can guarantee that nothing is agreed at this stage.

“Also, Jurgen Klopp, I can tell you guys, Jurgen Klopp, nothing is decided, nothing is agreed.

“For sure, he is a manager super-appreciated internally by people at Real Madrid, like Florentino Perez. But still nothing pre-agreed. This is why they prepared everything with Arbeloa; we will see what’s going to happen next in the future.

“But now it is Alvaro Arbeloa’s Real Madrid. It’s over for Xabi Alonso.”

And now Spanish website Fichajes insists that Klopp ‘wants four guaranteed signings’ for him to join in the summer with the former Liverpool manager ‘willing to accept’ Real Madrid’s offer to take over but ‘only if a series of very specific sporting conditions are met’.

Klopp is demanding ‘two centre-backs, two midfielders, and the return of Endrick to the first team’ and Los Blancos are ‘already aware of these demands and consider them consistent with the current state of the squad.’

But another report from the same publication has revealed a more alarming demand with Klopp wanting the sales of two Real Madrid players when he takes over.

England international Bellingham ‘doesn’t fit Klopp’s vision’ and his sale is a ‘key condition’ for the German coach to accept Real Madrid’s advances.

The report adds: ‘From the German manager’s perspective, Bellingham’s bubble seems to have burst. Klopp doesn’t doubt his talent, but believes his actual impact doesn’t justify his central role in the team or the leniency with which his poor performances are being treated.

‘The second player who is not in the German manager’s plans is Eduardo Camavinga . The French midfielder has been performing at a very low level for several months, lacking consistency and clarity in his play. Klopp believes he does not possess the tactical and reliability qualities required by his system.’
