The brass at La Liga giants Real Madrid were left surprised by the leaks stemming from the French national team’s dressing room, regarding their rumoured pursuit of Bayern Munich star Michael Olise.

Wide-man Olise has of course taken his place centre stage in the headlines surrounding Real Madrid across the summer to date.

Amid an ongoing search for a ‘Galáctico’ addition to new manager José Mourinho’s attacking ranks, Florentino Pérez and co. are widely understood to have earmarked the former Crystal Palace man as the ideal signing.

Los Blancos, as a club, have moved to publicly deny any such interest, whilst Bayern Munich have also remained adamant that Olise will be going nowhere this summer.

In turn, word of the chatter in France’s dressing room, centering on alleged talks between the 24-year-old and Real, left the Bernabéu hierarchy altogether confused.

As per a report from Diario AS:

‘Real Madrid don’t want to add fuel to the fire. In fact, the leak that Olise’s relationship with Real Madrid has been openly discussed in the French national team’s locker room has been very surprising.’
