Juventus and Dusan Vlahovic have been maintaining a strained relationship for a while now, with the player looking for an exit from the Serie A side this summer.

Juventus have offered the player a renewal proposal but the player is far from accepting it as he continues to look for a new opportunity to move ahead in his career.

Needless to say, the development has not gone down well with Juventus who have now handed him a deadline of June 30th to decide his future and respond to their proposal.

Looking to move to Spain

As confirmed by Mateo Moretto in a recent update, Vlahovic has been offered to Real Madrid this summer.

His agents have also offered his services to Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, and it is clear that the player wishes to play in La Liga with no particular club in mind.

What appears to be the case, however, is that the latest development is a last-ditch effort by his agents to secure their client his ‘dream’ move to Spain.

Given the tight deadline and ultimatum, however, it is unlikely that anything comes of it.

Not a priority signing

Beyond the fact that the deadline is a hurdle for Vlahovic’s transfer, Real Madrid simply do not see a new signing in that department as a priority the moment despite Jose Mourinho hoping to add a classic No. 9.

Kylian Mbappe is one of the world’s best centre-forwards in terms of his output, and signing the Serbian star would only add depth to a position that does not require much reinforcement.

After all, Real Madrid are also bringing back the Brazilian wonderkid Endrick to fortify the centre-forward position and Vlahovic would have virtually no role at the club should he arrive.

His situation, however, may be of more interest to Atletico Madrid and Barcelona given their involvement in the Julian Alvarez case and how one of the two clubs will certainly require a new striker this summer.

Last season, the 26-year-old forward made 19 league appearances and 11 starts for Juventus with seven goals and an assist in that duration. He averaged 2.6 shots per game and missed eight big chances.
