Real Madrid have decided to fine Aurélien Tchouaméni and Fede Valverde after the pair were involved in a dressing room bust-up, as per a report from RMC Sport.
Real Madrid confirmed on Thursday that an incident took place during the first team’s training session. RMC Sport reported that Valverde was left unconscious after falling during the altercation with the France international. The Uruguayan subsequently went to hospital. Real Madrid have confirmed that Valverde has suffered a head injury and will therefore miss this weekend’s El Clásico against Barcelona.
Real Madrid also announced that disciplinary proceedings had been launched. RMC Sport has now revealed the outcome of that disciplinary review. The publication understands that there will be no sporting sanctions against the pair.
However, both will receive fines for their involvement in Thursday’s fight at Real Madrid’s training ground. The club have adjudged that both players have a share of the blame for the incident and therefore both will pay fines of €500,000.
