Real Madrid pair to miss the rest of the season through injury | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid will be forced to make do without the contributions of two important players for the remainder of the campaign.

The pair in question? Arda Güler, and Éder Militão.

Both midfielder Arda and defender Militão featured from the off this week, as Real Madrid locked horns with Deportivo Alavés.

En route to an eventual 2-1 Blancos triumph, however, the duo picked up respective fitness problems.

After being put through medical tests and scans at Valdebebas on Thursday, Arda was confirmed to have suffered a hamstring injury in his right leg, with Militão having picked up the same, but in his right.

And as alluded to above, both players have, as a result, been condemned to incoming spells on the sidelines.

As per a report from Carrusel Deportivo, in fact, the two Blancos stars will not take to the pitch again this season.

Arda and Militão have already turned their focus towards the World Cup, hopeful of returning to full fitness in time for the group stage.
